Police pulled over a vehicle for having registration that belonged with another vehicle and found a syringe on the driver, a police report says.
Gary Roberts of Owensburg was stopped by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht on July 31.
Roberts’ vehicle was searched after Nashville Police Officer Keith Lawson reported smelling marijuana in it. The officer was helping Roberts find his driver’s license, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Roberts was charged with a felony on Aug. 1.
