COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police in Columbus are trying to find out who opened fire on three young men, injuring two of them.

Authorities say 18-year-old Tajuan Smith and 20-year-old Avote Moore were shot in their backs Friday evening and are in stable condition at local hospitals.

Moore and 17-year-old Marquis Reynolds told police they were inside a car when an unknown man began shooting at them. Reynolds wasn’t injured.

An investigation is continuing.
