MOBILE, Ala. — An Alabama man has been killed in what authorities believe was a home invasion.

AL.com reports that Mobile police spokesman Donald Wallace says authorities responding to a report of a medical emergency Thursday afternoon were escorted into the house by the victim’s wife, and found the man dead. He is believed to have been around 70 years old.

Police say the cause of death is still unknown. The victim’s identity has not been released.
