GLENDALE, Ariz. — Police in Glendale say a woman is hospitalized in serious condition after being shot in a road-rage incident.

They say another adult female was taken into custody after the shooting Wednesday night and is cooperating with authorities.

The names and ages of the two women haven’t been released yet.

Police say the incident began about 5 p.m. and occurred a few miles south from the shooting scene.

Details weren’t immediately released and police say it’s still unclear what triggered the road-rage incident.
