PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia police say a man has been brutally gunned down while sitting on the front stoop of a building.

The victim was shot between one and four times in the face as he sat near North Fourth Street and Indiana Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Monday. That’s in north Philadelphia.

Police were working to identify the man, who they said was Hispanic and appeared to be in his 20s.

Police haven’t identified or charged any suspects.

The man was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital.
