Timothy “Tim” D. Cave, 60, passed away all too soon on Sunday, July 2, 2017. He was a resident of Spearsville.

Tim was born Sept. 27, 1956, in Franklin to Daniel “Danny” and Florence (Schonfeld) Cave. He married Ramona Kean on Oct. 23, 1976 at Midway Separate Baptist Church in Fruitdale. She survives after 40 loving years of marriage.

Tim worked as a supervisor and welder for Franklin Power Products and for the Masonic home in the maintenance department. He attended Trafalgar United Methodist Church. Tim loved to spend his time in the outdoors fishing, boating and tending to his goats and other farm animals. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Tim will be dearly missed by his wife, Ramona Cave; father, Daniel “Danny” Cave of Peoga; children, Maria (Terry Malson) Cave of Whiteland and Timothy D. (Rachel) Cave Jr. of Spearsville; grandchildren, Edward, Ruby, Danilynn, Jaxson and Hailey; siblings, Tom (Tina) Cave of Peoga, Linda (Roger) Smith of Brown County, James (Tammy) Cave of Louisville, Kentucky, and Mary (Tim) Perkins of Trafalgar.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Florence.

The Rev. Ed Tharpe will conduct a funeral service at noon Saturday, July 8, at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spearsville Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Brown County. A meal will follow the committal service at Hickory Ridge Community Center, 2314 Hickory Ridge Lane off Hornettown Road.
