As the evening settled in, people carrying blankets and chairs made their way towards the hill at the Brown County Schools administration building to find their spot for the annual fireworks show July 1.

Boy Scout Troop 190 served up hot food with cold snow cones and drinks before the start of the annual Brown County Lions Club fireworks show.

Brown County Lions Club volunteers held out their buckets asking for donations for their fireworks show and handed out American flags.

Sparklers were lit as the sky turned dark and people waited for the fireworks to light up the night.
