Letters: TRIAD will put new storage shed to good use

To the editor:

TRIAD of Brown County is so pleased to thank the Brown County Community Foundation for the grant of $2,066.08, awarded on June 15. This award will be used for the purchase of a storage shed, which we hope to have in place by the end of June.

TRIAD of Brown County is a volunteer group organized under the auspices of our sheriff’s department and dedicated to neighborly service to our Brown County seniors and disabled folks. This community has provided us with years of quiet help and support.

Most recently, we developed a need for storage space for some durable medical equipment and supplies. For years, the Fruitdale Fire Department had graciously allowed us to park a semi trailer on their property for our storage needs. But their needs changed, and at their request, we needed to find a different option for our storage. This is where the Brown County Community Foundation grant comes in.

All of us with TRIAD are grateful to the Brown County Community Foundation for this grant. We are also grateful to our many community supporters. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Laura Young, TRIAD volunteer
