A Bean Blossom man faces a felony charge after police say he sent death threats in January to his former girlfriend after she kicked him out her house.

The woman told Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Williams on Jan. 31 that she had kicked Brandon K. Harrell, 28, of Spearsville Road, out of her apartment. The woman said she began receiving messages that morning from Harrell stating he was going to burn her home down and kill her, the probable-cause affidavit states.

Williams told the woman to get a protective order, notify authorities if he showed up at her house again and to not let him inside her home.

Harrell was charged with intimidation, a Level 6 felony, on March 30.
