NEEDMORE — A driver who crashed his Lincoln Town Car on State Road 45 has been charged with drunken driving and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Billie Ray Broadnax Jr., 27, of Indianapolis, admitted to driving the vehicle involved in the crash. It occurred at 7 a.m. June 2 in the 5300 block.

Broadnax smelled of alcohol and failed all field tests, a police report said. His blood-alcohol content measured at 0.11, over the legal limit.

He was charged June 6 with three alcohol-related misdemeanors, plus operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license and possession of paraphernalia, also misdemeanors.
