WESTMORELAND, N.H. — People in New Hampshire’s Cheshire County are getting back to normal after heavy rain caused some flash-flooding, closing some roads and forcing some evacuations.

WMUR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2sOUZ49) some roads in Walpole and Westmoreland were closed for several hours Monday during the flooding.

The storms also brought lightning across the state. Gilmanton officials said lightning could be to blame for the Town Hall computers going down. Scattered outages were reported.
