An Indianapolis man was arrested May 20 after he was stopped for driving with a suspended license.
Nashville Police Officer Richard King stopped a vehicle driven by Steven G. James, 56, for driving while intoxicated on State Road 46, according to a probable cause affidavit.
King reported smelling alcohol on James, seeing alcohol containers in his vehicle, that his speech was lethargic, his eyes were red/glossy, his manual dexterity was slow, his balance was unsteady at times and that he had on dirty clothing.
A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.197, according to the affidavit.
He was charged May 22 with three misdemeanors.
