A Columbus man was arrested early in the morning April 16 after a deputy pulled him over on State Road 46.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht reported smelling alcohol on the driver, Caymen Crouch, 24. He also reported seeing alcohol containers in the vehicle, and that Crouch’s speech was slow, his eyes were red and his manual dexterity was “compromised,” the police report said.

A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.12. He was charged with two alcohol-related misdemeanors April 17.
