A Bloomington man was pulled over April 15 on State Road 46 after a sheriff’s deputy suspected he was drunk.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht stopped Jerald E. Sipes, 38, at about 7:20 p.m. He reported smelling alcohol on Sipes, that his speech was slow and his eyes were bloodshot. A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.09, over the legal limit.

Sipes was charged April 17 with two alcohol-related misdemeanors.
