Ona Jewell Bowers, 77, of Hope, died at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Survivors include children, Calvin Lee (Ronitta) Bowers of Flat Rock, Robert Dale (Debbie) Bowers of Freetown, Sue Ellen Bowers of Hope, and Lisa Kay Bowers of Noblesville; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Donna Parsley and Pauline Engles, both of Columbus.

Jewell was preceded in death by her husband.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at Norman Funeral Home, 604 Main St. in Hope, with Bros. Ron Scott and Keenin Robinson officiating. Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 28, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery, Columbus.
