Randy Joe Sanders, 61, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.

He was born March 12, 1956 in Franklin to Kenneth E. and Ada L. (Vaught) Sanders. He married Jami D. (McConnell) Sanders on March 11, 2015; she survives.

He had worked for Duncan Robertson Inc. in Franklin. He enjoyed running heavy equipment, mushroom hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Other survivors include his daughters, Stacie L. Madison (Joe) of Trafalgar, Kimberley J. Sarros (Kenny) and Stefanie M. Flores (Hugo), both of of Okeechobee, Florida, Cheyanne A. Sanders and Miley D. Sanders, both of Franklin; father, Kenneth E. Sanders of Franklin; sisters, Pam Hochstetler (Glenn) and Debbie E. Hilligoss (Frank), both of Brown County; brothers, Kenny Ray Sanders (Sherry), John D. Sanders (DeWanda), and Bill D. Sanders, all of Brown County; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada L. (Vaught) Sanders; and a brother, Roger Dale Sanders.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin.

Friends can call from 5 p.m. until the service at the mortuary.

Burial will be in Richardson Cemetery in Brown County.
