A traffic stop for littering and throwing burning material from a vehicle resulted in drug charges for two Connersville residents.

On Jan. 20, Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht pulled over a vehicle driven by Kirsten Creech, 19. Eggebrecht reported smelling marijuana in the vehicle.

His report said he discovered marijuana and a black grinder. He also reported finding marijuana on her passenger, Chandler Creech, 21.

On March 30, Kirsten Creech was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Chandler Creech was charged with possessing marijuana.
