Letters: Volunteer during event to Keep Brown County Beautiful

0

To the editor:

On April 22, Keep Brown County Beautiful will host its first Great American Clean Up in Nashville and Brown County.

This is a national, annual event that will happen all over the country on this date among affiliates like ours, Keep Brown County Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.

We want to invite you to join us for this event by coming to register at the Pavilion on the Village Green at 9 a.m. and we will give you a job that morning. If you prefer, you can also volunteer to pick up litter on the road you live on.

Keeping our community clean generates a positive impact, helps the local economy and inspires us to be better stewards of our home and community. It takes each of us working together to make a difference.

Join us to make a difference by cleaning your road, perhaps with a crew of your neighbors, or join us at the Pavilion.

If you want to join us at noon for lunch, call Allison at 812-988-2211 or email us at [email protected] to register to volunteer. You can also call or email for more information.
