JACKSON TWP. — Police responding to a battery report arrested a man at the home on drug charges.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht spoke with Zackery White, 32, of Old Haggard Road March 27. He asked for consent to search White and his bedroom after smelling marijuana in the home, the report said.

White told officers that he “intermittently” did use heroin, the report said. Along with a syringe, Eggebrecht discovered two pipes, the report said.

White was charged March 28 with unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
