SPEARSVILLE — An officer patrolling in the Spearsville area recognized a driver as a woman who had no license, leading to a Level 6 felony charge against her.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Stargell had received a tip that Cynthia L. Conly, 50, Spearsville, had been driving a gray Ford Focus.

On Feb. 20, he saw a car matching that description and was able to ID Conly with a driver’s license photo, but by that time, he was unable to find the car.

She was charged March 8 with operating a vehicle as an habitual traffic violator.

A warrant was issued for her arrest March 15.
