1:23 a.m. “Other” investigation in 7000 block of Bellsville Pike; investigating sexual misconduct with a minor.

1:57 a.m. Harassment in 7300 block of Eagle Drive; harassing phone calls, does not know who is calling. Woman was told to call her phone service and see about getting the number blocked.

4:18 a.m. Medical emergency at assisted living facility; gout in leg. Spoke with nurse and she advises they are in contact with his doctor and he has been given pain medication for his leg.

4:49 a.m. Repossession in 8000 block of Dog Trot Lane.

5:23 a.m. Wrecker, town and county officers respond for property-damage crash in 1800 block of State Road 46 East, car vs. deer. Woman transported to jail; wrecker has vehicle.

5:32 a.m. County officer assists motorist on 46 just west of Pleasant Valley.

9:28 a.m. Suspicious vehicle on Fruitdale Road.

9:54 a.m. Town officer assists motorist on Snyder Road; stopped to assist truck reloading boxes that fell off.

9:59 a.m. Property found in 200 block of South Van Buren Street; firearm found in restroom, customer advised weapon secured. At 1:20 p.m. weapon was returned to owner, report completed.

10:31 a.m. Suspicious person on Greasy Creek Road. Man flagged down witness, said needed ride to Wychwood Drive across from the park, acting strangely. In car, man said was on way to see relative because had issue with them. Town officer offered ride to same individual and was refused. Officer unable to locate man at 10:41 a.m.

10:42 a.m. Theft in 7400 block of East Robertson Road at rental property following eviction; items include horse trailer, large trailer, hay elevator, push mower, two child’s bicycles, golf practice net, miniature satellite dish, 10-foot aluminum ladder and skeet launcher. Owner also wants to report abandoned vehicle at property, appears someone was sleeping in it. Owner said items had been missing since March 19; he thinks maybe the previous renter took items, but he has no proof.

11:45 a.m. Warrant served in 6400 block of Becks Grove Road.

11:59 a.m. Abandoned vehicle in 1600 block of State Road 135 North. Property owner where vehicle was abandoned advised if vehicle wasn’t moved before 4 p.m., it would be towed.

12:07 p.m. Animal complaint in 3600 block of Cardinal Drive; mangy dog, appears “nice enough,” may have growth.

1:21 p.m. County officer assists motorist in 5500 block of State Road 46 East. Woman stuck, ran over piece of lumber causing her tire to go flat. Wrecker came and put her spare tire on. Woman drove to auto shop to see if any other damage was done.

1:32 p.m. Welfare check in 100 block of Forest Hills Drive; resident behaving strangely, beating on floor or walls. Resident was evicted yesterday with 10 days to vacate. County officer reports everything appeared O.K. in the apartment; man checked O.K.

1:46 p.m. Jackson Fire and EMS 8 respond for medical emergency in 6800 block of Oak Ridge Road; patient transported emergent to St. Francis at 2:12 p.m.

1:57 p.m. Animal bite in 200 block of Pool Road.

1:58 p.m. Fruitdale Fire responds for medical emergency in 200 block of Schoolhouse Lane, 67-year-old woman in pain. Cleared at 2:18 p.m.

2:32 p.m. Cordry, Fruitdale, Hamblen, Jackson, Nashville and Van Buren Fire and EMS 7 respond for grass/brush/mulch fire in 2700 block of Grandma Barnes. Fire in cabin in woods to the west, top of hill in the middle of the woods, no structures or tanks in way of fire. Command requested EMS for rehab. Cleared by 5:46 p.m.

3:52 p.m. Suspicious person in 9700 block of Horseshoe Road; no shirt, jeans, tattoos all over body.

4:06 p.m. Abandoned vehicle at west gate; will check again later this evening to see if car is still there.

4:46 p.m. Town officer assists motorist on 46 East/Hawthorne. Subject walking to gas station to get gas, will be standing by with vehicle. Officer advised returning to vehicle with fuel at 4:57 p.m.

5:17 p.m. Cordry Fire responds for fire alarm in 7100 block of Opossum Drive, living room smoke. False alarm.

5:19 p.m. Counterfeit money at shop on North Van Buren Street.
