Former resident of Nashville, Marie T. (Jackson) Fox, 91, of Hudson, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Bear Creek Nursing Home in Hudson.

Marie was born Monday, July 13, 1925, to the late Romie England and Tressie (Humes) Jackson in Tompkinsville, Kentucky. On Dec. 13, 1947, she married husband, Junior D. Fox, who passed away Feb. 4, 2012.

Marie was a waitress at F.W. Woolworth & Company for 17 years.

Marie is survived by children, Patricia H. (Fox) Cook (husband, Leo) of Hudson, Florida; Larry D. Fox (wife, Margaret) of Nashville, Donald E. Fox (wife, LaDonna) of Martinsville; sister, Alice Heidt of Pensacola, Florida; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior D. Fox; siblings, Mary L. Turner, Buster Jackson, Willie Mae Moore, Mary Lou Altum, Dorothy Summers, and Beatrice Saul.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9, at Costin Funeral Chapel, 539 E. Washington St. in Martinsville, with two hours of visitation from 9 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be in Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery, Martinsville.
