Notice to Taxpayers of Additional Appropriations

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Brown County, Indiana, that the County Council will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year at their regular meeting place at 201 Locust Lane, Nashville, Indiana at 6:30 pm on the 20st day of March, 2017.

Fund Name:  Salt Creek Trail Fund #1395

Professional Services   $335,000.00

Other Services and Charges                                                   $50,000.00

Fund Name:  Community Crossing Grant Fund #9127

Other Services and Charges                                              $2,000,000.00

Fund Name:  Road Projects Fund #4652 Other Services and Charges                 $1,979,500.00

Fund Name:  County General Fund #1000

Supplies                       $10,000.00

Fund Name:  Redevelopment Commission Sale Proceeds #8105

Other Services and Charges                                                   $30,000.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard.  The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF).  The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
