Peggy Louise Axsom, 84, of Nashville, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, in her home with her family by her side.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Charles William Axsom; six children, Diane Axsom of Bloomington, Paul Axsom (Linda) of Nashville, Sherri Axsom of Bloomington, Sue Axsom of Bloomington, David Axsom of Nashville and Debbie Stone (Billy Martin) of Heltonville; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson; and a great-great-grandson.

Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, with the Rev. Charles Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Burgoon Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, and one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
