Notice to Taxpayers of Additional Appropriations

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Brown County, Indiana, that the County Council will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year at their regular meeting place at 201 Locust Lane, Nashville, Indiana at 6:30 pm on the 21st day of February, 2017.

Amount Requested

Fund Name:  Alternative Dispute Fee Fund #2200 Other Services and Charges                        $9,033.00

Fund Name:  Court Interpreter Fund #4018 Other Services and Charges                             $5,219.52

Fund Name:  County General Fund #1000 Personal Services                                                          $9,035.00

Fund Name:  Cumulative Capital Development Fund #1138 Personal Services            $262.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard.  The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF).  The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
