BEAN BLOSSOM — A three-vehicle accident on State Road 135 North Jan. 13 resulted in minor injuries.

Jimmy D. Norton, 60, Unionville, was attempting to turn left into Brownie’s Restaurant on 135 North when he struck a vehicle driven by Miescha S. Lacy, 46, Morgantown, who was traveling south.

Lacy’s vehicle was then pushed into the parking lot and collided with a vehicle driven by Nicholas S. O’Neill, 36, Franklin. O’Neill was waiting in the lot to turn onto State Road 135 North, according to an accident report by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Greg Pittman.

Norton told police he did not see Lacy’s vehicle when he started to turn into the lot. Lacy said she attempted to go off the west side of the road to avoid the accident, but O’Neill’s vehicle was in the way, according to the report.

All vehicles received front-end damage.

Norton and Lacy complained of neck pain. Pittman reported that O’Neill did not have any visible injuries. A child passenger in Lacy’s vehicle also had neck pain.

The drivers and passengers were all checked out by EMS, but refused further treatment, the report said.
