Letter: A note of thanks from a newspaper carrier

To the editor:

I deliver The Democrat. My route takes me from Nashville to Morgantown and from Lake Lemon to Spearsville. Every week I drive about 150 miles through our county delivering the paper to the best people I have ever had the pleasure to talk to. They all have a smile, a wave or a few minutes to stand and talk. They are understanding if the paper is a little late or for some reason their paper wasn’t in their box when they looked for it.

The candy and gifts in the boxes and the cards mailed to my house have left me speechless. I thank each and every one of you. I truly wish all of you a great new year and thank you for letting me deliver your paper.
