SALT LAKE CITY — Police say a man killed his estranged wife and then fatally shot himself in a Utah parking lot.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/2ipusAP) that police say the shooting happened after their car abruptly stopped at a West Valley City business where people were arriving for work.

Authorities say 47-year-old Nolan Anderton and 48-year-old Louann Anderton were taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Both died of their injuries shortly after.

Police say they were estranged and in the process of a divorce.
