BROWN COUNTY AREA PLAN COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that Red Truck LLC has filed with the Area Plan Commission of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for Rezoning of property, to wit:
Legal description of premises:
The following described real estate located in Brown County, Indiana, to-wit:
A part of the West half of the Northeast quarter of Section 19, Township 9 North, Range 3 East of the Second Principal Meridian described as follows: Beginning at a point on the North line of said half quarter section 292.0 feet East of the Northwest corner thereof; thence South 3 degrees East 929.5 feet thence South 6 degrees 15 minutes West 1122.0 feet to the centerline of State Road No. 46; thence South 80 degrees 30 minutes East with said centerline 600.0 feet; thence Southeasterly with said centerline 237.0 feet; thence North 22 degrees 30 minutes East 1000.0 feet to the Southeast comer of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 19; thence North on the East line of last said quarter quarter section 1358.0 feet to the Norm line of said half quarter section; thence West on said North line 1062.0 feet to the place of beginning, containing 51.1 acres, more or less subject to all legal rights-of-way and easements.
Also, the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 18, Township 9 North, Range 3 East, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a stone at the Southwest corner of said quarter quarter section; thence North on the West line of said quarter quarter section 1382.8 feet to a stone at the Northwest corner thereof; thence East on the Norm line of said quarter quarter section 1356.6 feet to a stone at the Northeast comer thereof; thence South on the East line of said quarter quarter section 1370.3 feet to a stone at the Southeast corner thereof; thence West on the South line of said quarter quarter section 1351.5 feet to the place of beginning, containing 42.8 acres, more or less, subject to all legal rights of way and easements.
Applicants are requesting approval for rezoning the described property from Secondary Residential (R2) and Forest Reserve (FR) to General Business (GB). The property is located at 953 Memorial Drive in Washington Township. Part of commonly known as Firecracker Hill.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection at least 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
The Commission will hold a public hearing on January 24, 2017 during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this petition by order of the Area Plan Commission. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time. The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
