Notice is hereby given that Archie D. Johnson has filed with the Area Plan Commission of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for a primary approval of a subdivision, to wit:
Legal description of premises:
The northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 26, Township 9 North, Range .3 East, containing 40 acres, more or less. Also, a part of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 26, Township 9 North, Range 3 East, lying in Washington Township. Brown County, Indiana, described as follows! Commencing at a stone found at the Northwest corner of said quarter quarter thence South 86 degrees 25 minutes East (bearing taken from a previous survey)along the North line of said quarter quarter 201.0 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin found and the point of beginning; thence continuing South 86 degrees 25 minutes East along said North line 1000.2 feet to a stone found at the Northeast corner of said quarter quarter; thence South 01 degree 07 minutes West along an existing fence 523.4 feet to an Iron pin set on the North right of way line of State Road No. 46; thence South 86 degrees 33 minutes West along said right of way 171.9 feet, to a point; thence South 83 degrees minutes East along said right of way 20.0 feet to a point; thence South 89 degrees 36 minutes West along said right of way 751.1 feet to a point; thence South 86 degrees 33 minutes West along said right of way 158.1 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin found; thence North 01 degree 01 minute East a distance of 636.1 feet to the point of beginning, containing 14.5 acres, more or less.
Subject to any utility easements, highways, or rights of way of record affecting said real estate. Subject to all taxes of record.
This deed is executed in full compliance of a certain unrecorded Contract for Conditional Sale of Real Estate between Grantor and Grantees herein, referred to in Memorandum of Contract dated January 3, 1981 and recorded January 5, 1981 in Miscellaneous record 34 on pages 599-601.
Applicant is requesting primary approval of ALJ Subdivision, a proposed 4 lot major subdivision in Washington Township. The property is located at 4602 State Road 46 East in Washington Township.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
The Commission will hold a public hearing on January 24, 2017 during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in die petition. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this petition by order of the Area Plan Commission. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time. The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
