A Columbus woman was arrested Nov. 27 after police reported finding a syringe in her possession.
Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht reported in a probable cause affidavit that he stopped a vehicle that Lindsey Hebestreit, 28, was riding in for a traffic infraction.
Eggebrecht searched the vehicle after detecting a marijuana odor. He reported finding a syringe and a silver spoon with a crystal-like residue and burn marks in a purse Hebestreit had on her lap.
She was charged Nov. 29 with a Level 6 felony.
