A Seymour man was arrested on drug charges Nov. 7 after he was pulled over for going 16 miles over the speed limit.

Nashville Police Officer Kyle Seward pulled over Nathaniel Samons, 20, for driving 66 mph in a 50 mph zone on State Road 46 East, according to a probable-cause affidavit.

During the stop, Seward reported finding about one ounce of marijuana; a black glass pipe with red and blue streaks that had burnt marijuana in it; and a red, green and yellow rubber square containing less than one gram of THC wax.

On Nov. 15, Samons was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
