Fake registration prompts teen’s arrest

A Bloomington teen was arrested Oct. 20 after police stopped him on Hawthorne Drive for having a fake vehicle registration number and discovered he was intoxicated.

Nashville Police Officer Kyle Seward reported smelling alcohol on Braydon R. Blake, 18, seeing alcohol containers in his vehicle, and that his speech was slurred and his eyes were red/watery, a probable cause affidavit said.

A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.11.

He was charged Oct. 24 with three alcohol-related misdemeanors.
