Margot (Kautschor) Staggs, 91, of Greenwood, formerly of Martinsville, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at The Hearth at Stones Crossing.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Julian “Duke” Alberding; second husband, Robert C. “Bud” Staggs; a son, Eric Alberding; and stepson, Robert William Staggs.

Margot is survived by a daughter, Juliane (Gary) Pedigo of Greenwood; stepson: Noel Wayne (Judy) Staggs of Martinsville; sister, Anka Kautschor of Germany; four grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Steve Schellin will conduct a memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends can call from 11 a.m. until service time Nov. 18 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in East Hill Cemetery, Morgantown.
