Letter: Lions appreciated for vision screenings

0

To the editor:

On behalf of Brown County Schools, the school nurses, Sherri Rice and Marie Mooney, would like to once again thank the volunteers with the Brown County Lions Club for assisting in the vision screenings of our third-, fifth- and eighth-grade students.

They screened approximately 400 students over the course of several days, giving of their time and talent so freely.

A special thanks to Gene Niednagel who coordinates the vision screenings each year.

Brown County is truly blessed to have such an organization in its community who gives so much back to its citizens.

Marie Mooney, RN BSN, corporation nurse, and Sherri Rice, RN, elementary school nurse
