Spearsville Road is the first Brown County road on this fall’s paving list and that work is starting today, Brown County commissioner Diana Biddle reported this morning.

The road will be closed intermittently and some detours may be posted between now and Wednesday, between State Road 135 and Hurdle Road, Biddle said.

Biddle said other roads on the list — including parts of Railroad Road, Chickadee Drive, West Robertson Road, Horseshoe Road, Creamer Road, Mt. Zion Road, Hassettown Road, Helmsburg School Road, and three streets in Trevlac — could start late this week or early next week and work could take two to three weeks to complete.
