A passenger was injured midday Oct. 29 after the motorcycle she was riding left Salt Creek Road and crashed into a cornfield.

A witness told Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Colton Magner that the driver, Tony Marshall, 58, of Anderson, was not speeding, but he did not make a turn sharp enough.

Marshall’s southbound motorcycle left Salt Creek Road near Brown Hill Road and ended up in an adjacent cornfield.

Passenger Tamara Marshall, 57, Anderson, was ejected from the motorcycle once it entered the cornfield.

She was taken to the hospital by ambulance for injuries to her right arm and shoulder area, the accident report said.

Tony Marshall was not injured. Both were wearing helmets.
