A Nashville woman was arrested Oct. 25 after police reported finding two used syringes on the passenger floorboard where she was sitting during a traffic stop.

Taylor Lemons, 24, was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for driving left of center, according to a probable cause affidavit by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht.

Eggebrecht reported that the driver was arrested on unrelated charges and the vehicle was searched before being towed. That’s when police discovered the syringes, the affidavit said.

The syringes were found in a silver cylinder that was inside a small zippered bag on the floorboard where Lemons was seated.

Lemons denied that the syringes were hers and said she was holding onto them for someone else, the affidavit said.

On Oct. 26,she was charged with unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony.
