A Columbus and a Greenwood man have been charged with felonies both after they failed to report to the Brown County jail in August and July.

Christopher Johnson, 31, Columbus, was sentenced to 60 days in the jail in July for not paying child support. He would be released from jail if he posted a $500 bond. Brown Circuit Court ordered Johnson to report to the jail, July 22, but Jail Commander Tony Sciscoe reported he didn’t show up.

Christopher T. Williams, 29, Greenwood, was sentenced to 60 days June 30 for not paying child support. He was to be released from jail if he posted a $280 cash bond.

He was ordered to report to the jail Aug. 5, but Sciscoe reported Aug. 5 Williams did not appear, the report said.

Both were charged with Level 6 felonies Oct. 11.
