JACKSON TWP. — An Edinburgh man was arrested Oct. 9 after police pulled over his vehicle on Owl Creek Road.

Sgt. Bill Southerland with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department reported smelling alcohol on Matthew Baker, 35, seeing alcohol containers in the vehicle, and that Baker’s eyes were red/watery.

A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.17, over the legal limit of 0.08, the report said.

Baker was charged with three alcohol-related misdemeanors and carrying a handgun without a license, also a misdemeanor.
