Jackie L. “Jack” Allender, 78, La Grange, Kentucky, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Jack is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandra K. (Rudolph) Allender; his children, Cheryl Yazell of Indianapolis, Carol Pferrer of Avon, Jason Engelken of Greenwood and Jeremy (Allison) Engelken of Boston, Massachusetts; siblings, Carolyn (Lee) Service and John Robert Allender, both of Ruskin, Florida; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at Meredith–Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends can call from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery, Morgantown.
