HAMBLEN TWP. — An Indianapolis man was injured after he lost control of his motorcycle and slid under a truck on Beech Tree Road Oct. 15.

Cory A. Graves, 19, was going around a curve when the foot pegs on his 2002 Yamaha XVS caught the pavement and caused him to lose control, an accident report from Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Taggart said.

Graves’ motorcycle then skidded under a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab truck driven by Matthew C. Croucher, 55, Nineveh.

Croucher told Taggart he saw Graves lose control and he came to a stop as quickly as he could to keep from running over the motorcycle and driver, the report said.

Graves’ knee/lower leg or foot was fractured or dislocated, the report said. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance. He was wearing a helmet.

Croucher was not injured, the report said.
