An Indianapolis man was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Labor Day weekend after police pulled over his truck, which was pulling a boat.
James M. Bridges, 43, was stopped about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3.
Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Shrader reported smelling alcohol on Bridges, seeing alcohol containers in the truck, that his speech was delayed/slurred and his eyes were bloodshot/glazed.
A chemical test administered at the Brown County Jail showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.209, more than twice the legal limit, the report said.
He was charged Sept. 13 with two alcohol-related misdemeanors.
