BIDDEFORD, Maine — A man killed in a Biddeford, Maine, parking lot on state Route 111 has been identified and police say they’re searching for the driver of a pickup truck that hit him and left the scene.

Authorities responded to the parking lot of a shopping plaza Monday afternoon and found the man on the asphalt.

State police originally said an altercation lead to Mathew Perry of Biddeford being run over by a truck, but spokesman Steve McCausland said Monday that no foul place is suspected.

Police say surveillance cameras show Perry was running alongside the truck before it ran him over.

The State Medical Examiner’s said the death was caused by, “blunt force trauma to head and chest” when pedestrian fell and was run over. The death deemed to be accidental.
