Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on October 26, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Mary Marcotte for a Special Exception to allow a tourist home.

The location of the property is 1663 Clay Lick Road in Washington Township.

Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 9 North, Range 3 East, described as follows: Beginning North 01 degrees 53 minutes East 795.0 feet from the southwest corner of said quarter quarter section; thence North 01 degrees 53 minutes East 340.7 feet; thence South 60 degrees 53 minutes East 933.7 feet; thence Southerly with the center of Clay Lick Road 192.6 feet; thence North 69 degrees 01 minutes West 840.6 feet to the beginning, containing 5.06 acres, more or less. The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.

All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
