A Hassetown Road man has been charged with domestic battery after police said he put a woman in a headlock and took her down to the floor Sept. 17.
Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Williams spoke with the victim who told him Dustin Poling, 29, grabbed her neck from behind.
She said she sustained redness on her chest, scratches on her neck and a bump on her head. Williams also reported seeing a bloody spot on her elbow, the affidavit said.
Poling was charged Sept. 19 with domestic battery and interference with the reporting of a crime, both Class A misdemeanors.
