NEWARK, N.J. — New Jersey Transit says service has been restored into and out of Hoboken on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail line, and the agency is warning weekend commuters of possible delays due to the train crash at Hoboken Terminal.

The Friday announcement comes a day after a NJ Transit commuter train rammed into the terminal, killing a woman on the platform and injuring more than 100 other people. Service into and out of the terminal is still suspended.

The agency detailed temporary schedules for the Main and Pascack Valley lines on its website and warned customers that overcrowding and delays were possible throughout the weekend due to congestion.

The National Transportation Safety Board said Friday it could be a few days before investigators gain full access to the crash site due to a fallen canopy and debris.
