WOODBURY, N.J. — A man has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a shooting at a roller skating rink in Gloucester County.
Ibntroy Gaines, of Winslow Township, pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by someone prohibited from legally owning one. Under terms of a plea agreement, prosecutors will seek a prison term of five years without parole.
Prosecutors say Gaines opened fire in the Franklin Skating Center in 2015 after having a confrontation with a skit performer. No one was injured, and he was arrested in New Orleans.
Gaines became subject to the “certain persons not to have a gun” charge after his 2013 guilty plea to burglary and escape in Atlantic County. He served a year in county jail.
