Man sleeping on bench arrested

A man whom police found sleeping on a bench outside of a shop in Nashville was arrested Sept. 14 on drug charges.

Nashville Police Officer Richard King reported that Joseph P. Caporale, 32, of Indianapolis was acting nervous, pacing, flexing his hands and being “very lethargic” when answering questions.

On the man, King reported finding 19 pink and blue tablets that he believed to be Hydrocodone, a Schedule II controlled substance, and about three grams of marijuana.

He was charged Sept. 14 with possession of a controlled substance and marijuana, both misdemeanors.
