While conducting a traffic stop Aug. 25, Nashville Police were notified of a man who appeared to be intoxicated, walking into traffic.

Officers Kyle Seward and Richard King were conducting a traffic stop on State Road 46 East when a driver passed and began pointing a finger “frantically” toward Jason G. Owens, 31.

Seward seeing Owens cross over the fog line and into the lane of traffic about two times. He reported that Owens also used his middle finger and abusive language toward the officers.

On him, Seward reported finding two grams of marijuana and a wooden one-hitter pipe that contained a white cylinder.

Owens, of Park Lane in Nashville, was charged Sept. 2 with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
